REAC’s General Assembly, held last Friday, saw the renewal of the Board of Directors. A changeover that comes after five years of teamwork tackling multiple challenges.
The Roadside Assistance Companies Network (REAC) continues on its journey after five years of work in the roadside assistance sector. Last week, the business group’s 7th General Assembly took place in Madrid, as part of the process of renewing the Board of Directors, for which elections had previously been called.
In keeping with the founding principle of a Network that is, above all, based on the idea of companies uniting to defend common goals, the members gathered to elect those who will be the next representatives on the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will take office this very week.
Last week’s meeting was a day of looking back to recall the goals achieved by REAC. A pause before continuing to work by and for the members of the Network. At the end of the talks, a video was shown, which can be seen below. The video, made up of images from REAC’s early years, moved those attending, all members of the group.
A group of companies unafraid of the future
Let us remember that REAC is made up mainly of roadside assistance, tow-truck, recovery and traveller assistance companies which, above all, offer roadside assistance and rescue services. Based on the Iberian Peninsula and the islands, they are groups of companies, SMEs, micro-enterprises and family businesses that work every day on the roads, highways, towns and cities across the country.
Throughout these early years, REAC has placed particular emphasis on promoting professionalisation and good practice in the sector through internal audits, the implementation of business management procedures and training activities, both for roadside assistance operators and for company managers. Much of its strength lies there. Now, with the incoming Board of Directors, with renewed strength.
