The International Rescue, Assistance and Emergencies Fair reaffirms its place as the sector’s meeting point. REAC has once again worked closely with Fireca, where it held its General Assembly.
Roadside assistance companies, providers of digital solutions that make the sector’s day-to-day work easier, suppliers of accessories related to emergencies and traveller assistance, tow trucks, institutional representatives, curious and interested members of the public… all came together at Fibes, the Seville Exhibition and Conference Centre, over three days. From 9 to 11 October, alongside the large exhibition with stands and displays of products and services, a programme of activities was held, including workshops and talks, as well as product presentations (there was also a spectacular bus rescue drill). The technical team of the Red de Empresas de Auxilio en Carretera (REAC) takes a very positive view of its intensive participation in the second edition of Fireca.
This edition, Fireca 2019, has established itself as an essential annual networking event for the roadside assistance sector and all the professionals who make it up. The increase in exhibitors and the significant rise in visitor numbers at this edition make the Seville event a success. As many as 46 direct stands and 115 indirect exhibitors (companies attending through other firms) were able to meet or reconnect over these days, at a trade fair that has seen its visitor numbers grow. “This year we have exceeded 5,000 visitors over the three days of Fireca”, say the Organisers.
A positive outcome for REAC
REAC is delighted with a success that undoubtedly benefits the Network itself and its members. The companies that form it – 75, from all over Spain – feel increasingly part of this positive outcome. Holding the REAC General Assembly at Fireca provides the ideal context for sharing issues that affect and concern the sector; and also for proposing specific training, identifying particular needs and discussing proposals.
The REAC stand also saw a constant stream of professionals and members who had the opportunity to share their concerns and their positive impressions of the successful work being done by the Network to promote greater professionalism and excellence among companies in the sector. Projects like this are built through shared effort, and Fireca is undoubtedly the perfect occasion to show this publicly.
