In the roadside assistance sector, every job is more than technical assistance; it is a commitment to people's safety and peace of mind. Today, at REAC (Red de Empresas de Asistencia en Carretera), that commitment has brought us one of the greatest joys in our history.
We are very proud to share with all of you that the Fundación de la Asociación Española de la Carretera (Spanish Road Association Foundation) has selected us as finalists in the prestigious 2026 Clotoide Awards.
The value of solidarity: Nominated for the "Solidarity Cause Award"
Competing in the "Solidarity Cause Award" category is, for us, the greatest recognition possible. This milestone is not just a title; it reflects our daily mission:
-
Protecting citizens at critical moments of emergency.
-
Guaranteeing road safety through professionalisation.
-
Encouraging collaboration between companies to reach where others cannot.
Since our foundation, we at REAC have understood that unity is the only mechanism for ensuring the continuity and future of our companies. This nomination confirms that when we work together to obtain individual benefits through joint action, the greatest beneficiary is always society.
When will we know the result? Córdoba awaits
The final decision will be made in an unbeatable setting: the 6th Andalusian Roads Congress (VI Congreso Andaluz de Carreteras), which will be held in Córdoba from 25 to 27 March.
The most exciting thing about this award is that the winner will be chosen by the congress attendees themselves, who will vote among the three finalist organisations. The result will be announced during the official closing ceremony on Friday 27 March.
"Being among the three finalists is already a victory. It reinforces our purpose of joining forces to protect the sector and, above all, to look after life on the road".
More than a network, a family of professionals
This recognition comes at a time when REAC continues to make a strong commitment to excellence. We continue to offer our members key tools to compete in a changing market:
-
High-Level Training: From courses for managers on prevention legislation to high technical qualification (Level 1, 2 and 3 Operators).
-
Real Synergies: Cost reduction, information sharing and access to leading-edge technologies.
-
Safety and Compliance: Comprehensive advice so that business owners are not alone in the face of complex Spanish regulations.
Heartfelt thanks
We would like to thank each and every one of our members, collaborators and, of course, the AEC Foundation for this honour. Whatever happens in Córdoba, #REACPride is already unstoppable.
Thank you for joining us on this journey! Together, we are stronger.
