In the year of recovery, Fireca returns to hold its 3rd edition on 13, 14 and 15 October at Fibes (Seville). And REAC is back too, joining the most important event in the sector.
The third edition of the International Rescue, Assistance and Emergencies Fair, Fireca, will finally take place on 13, 14 and 15 October this year. The venue, as always, will be the Seville Exhibition and Conference Centre (Fibes), where the leading players in the roadside assistance and emergencies sector will gather after the break caused by the COVID-19 year. Companies, institutions, associations and professionals will be present at the sector's most significant event.
The Red de Empresas de Auxilio en Carretera (REAC) has been part of the Fireca Organising Committee since the very beginning. And it will be there once again, taking part with a stand that will serve as a meeting point for its more than 70 member companies. There is no doubt that everyone is keen to meet in person after this whole period of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Anyone interested in attending the fair can register for free here, on the Fireca website. The call for exhibitors is also still open. Roadside assistance companies, spare parts distributors, public rescue services, tow-truck companies and car dealerships are among the groups of businesses this professional event is aimed at.
REAC General Meeting
The 2019 edition brought together as many as 46 direct stands and 115 indirect exhibitors (companies attending through other firms). And more than 5,000 visitors attended over the three days of Fireca, according to the Organisers. 2021 sees the return of what will be the 3rd International Forum on Road Accident Response, with the participation of members of the DGT, the Police, the Guardia Civil, Civil Protection, 061, Samur and emergency services in general.
However, one of the main activities for the tow-truck companies grouped in REAC is the REAC General Meeting. It is the ideal moment to share all the ups and downs the sector has been through, and in 2021 it will be able to take stock of these months of pandemic, which have been so difficult for everyone.
COVID-19 safety protocols at Fibes

The 3rd edition of Fireca will take place against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, in which any public activity remains subject to the Order of 19 June 2020, as well as to the revisions adopted by each Autonomous Community (Andalusia in this case, given that the trade fair is held in the city of Seville).
Fibes will therefore adopt the preventive measures appropriate to these times: capacity and temperature checks, separate entrances and exits, car park with card reader, reduced capacity… and of course compulsory face masks throughout the venue, regular cleaning with virucides, daily ventilation of spaces, social distancing of 1.5 metres, toilets and washrooms at 50% capacity, etc.
