Much more than assistance: The female driving force behind REAC 💜

8 March is not just a date on the calendar; it is a moment to pause, look back on the road travelled and recognise those who make it possible for the Red de Empresas de Asistencia en Carretera (REAC) to be a benchmark of efficiency in Spain.

Historically, the roadside assistance sector has been perceived as a purely male environment. However, the reality of our bases, offices and control centres tells a very different story: the roadside assistance sector has a woman's name.

The talent that drives our Network

At REAC, diversity is not a goal, it is our everyday structure. The engine that drives us does not run on fuel and mechanics alone; it runs thanks to:

  • Precision in Coordination: Our female control-centre operators are the first point of contact, the calm voice in moments of stress and the analytical mind that manages logistics in record time.

  • Technical Expertise at road level: We have female operators who show every day that skill and safety know no gender, breaking down barriers in a demanding operating environment.

  • Strategic Vision in Leadership: Women in executive and management positions within our Network bring the innovation and resilience the sector needs to evolve towards a more modern and digital model.

Breaking stereotypes, building excellence

The female presence in REAC brings much more than balance; it brings excellence. In a sector that requires a perfect combination of logistical strength and empathy in customer service, female talent has proven to be a catalyst for change and innovation.

"We are not just looking to meet a quota; we are looking for the best talent to keep Spain moving safely. And that talent, more strongly every day, wears the uniform and leads as women."

A commitment that goes beyond 8M

At REAC, our commitment to equality does not end when International Women's Day is over. We work actively to make roadside assistance an attractive, fair sector full of opportunities for future generations of women.

Today we want to say thank you to all the colleagues, collaborators and businesswomen who are part of REAC. Thank you for your effort, for your vision and for helping us go further every day.

Happy International Women's Day!
